Five Wedding Lounge Areas that We Love

Some extra splurges for your wedding are well worth the extra cost. Lounge areas are one of these splurges. If you are getting married in a hotel, chances are that areas with eclectic couches and tables will be available for your guests to gather around. However, you can create the same laid back, yet classy vibe at any venue! Here are our top reasons to rent lounge furniture for your wedding:

  • Accent pieces look fantastic in photos
  • It’s a great place for your guests to sit and have more intimate conversations
  • Guests who have mobility issues will feel included in the buzz
  • Bold furniture can complete your wedding theme look

If you’re not convinced yet, take a look at these fabulous wedding lounges that make our heart skip a beat!

These hanging chairs are so unique! The bride and groom look like royalty sitting in these hammock chairs, and the small lounge is great for guests who need a breather from interacting with a large crowd! This wedding took place in Palm Beach, so the lounge is an excellent reflection of the location! A lounge is a great way to amplify the geography of the wedding. For example, use tree stumps for seats if your wedding is in the mountains, or modern shaped furniture if your wedding is in the city!

This lounge also has a focal point of bride and groom chairs, but should not be seen as exclusive to the married couple. A lounge can include any number of furniture pieces, and setting up an area that fits two people can foster intimate conversations for guests! We LOVE how many Gold Calendar vendors collaborated on this wedding.

The dark wood and beige upholstery adds so much class to lakeside walkway. We can just hear the jazzy melodic sounds floating out of the record player and can just feel the warm summer air. This lounge is taking us back to the class of the fifties! Renting beautiful furniture and accent pieces such as a record player is a great way to give guests a place to gather that is separate from the ceremony or reception location.

This is one of the most unique backdrops we have stumbled upon! The numerous textures are key in this whimsical framed lounge area. Wood, fabric, clear chairs, gold throw pillows, oh my! This aesthetic would fit perfectly in a modern-styled wedding.

We love the many pieces that create this lounge. The neutral colors would be perfect for a rustic, garden, or glam themed wedding. What we love most about this lounge is that the colors are cohesive! A lounge does not always have to pop out from the rest of the decor!
